The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) hosted a MADANI Muhibah Aidilfitri celebration in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1446H. This event continued KPKT’s tradition of fostering unity and cultural diversity.
The celebration was graced by the Chief Secretary to the Government, the Auditor General, deputy ministers, secretaries-general from various ministries, foreign embassy representatives, senior officials, and more than 3,000 ministry personnel, strategic partners, and media practitioners.

During the event, Housing and Local Government Minister YB Nga Kor Ming honored six recipients of the People-Friendly Homes (RMR) and Urban House Repair and Rebuild Programs (PBPR & PBBR) through the presentation of KPKT’s Housing Initiatives. The ceremony also saw the launch of the e-RMR system and the M-Niaga PR1MA platform.

The e-RMR system is an upgraded platform for applying for RMR homes, streamlining processes by replacing manual tasks with automated, paperless procedures. This results in faster, more accurate, and efficient project execution, aligning with Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad’s (SPNB) mission to provide quality housing for the B40 group.
Also launched was M-Niaga PR1MA, a commercial unit initiative by Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) aimed at empowering local socioeconomic development. The program offers 256 commercial units with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM160.15 million, tailored to support small and medium-sized businesses within PR1MA residential zones. Ranging from 689 to 5,803 sq ft, each unit features flexible designs and starts from RM289,800, available in Selangor, Perak, Melaka, Kedah, Kelantan, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak.

The MADANI Muhibah Aidilfitri event featured a diverse range of Malaysian unity-themed dishes such as nasi minyak, soto ayam, satay, capati, vadai, dim sum, nyonya kuih, and more. The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) continued its tradition with the ‘fire kitchen’, serving their signature mee goreng abang bomba, a field kitchen concept used during disasters and long operations for firefighter welfare.
Additionally, participants from the Urban Community Economic Empowerment Program (PEKB) served desserts including tutti-frutti pudding, caramel pudding, and pineapple tarts. PEKB is a program that trains low-income B40 individuals registered under eKasih to boost their income through entrepreneurship in their respective fields.
In his speech, YB Nga Kor Ming emphasized,
“This MADANI Muhibah Aidilfitri event aims to celebrate goodwill and strengthen unity, not just within KPKT but also among all government staff serving in Putrajaya.”
